SERFA Scholars
Thanks to the generous support of anonymous donors, up to three scholarships will be awarded covering most of the cost of registration, lodging and meals. The donors recognize that our folk community offers opportunities to learn and grow in the world of music and music business. The scholarship is intended to welcome recipients into the SERFA family.
Contributions to this fund support SERFA's work for the folk music community in the Southeast. Your donation will provide additional support for scholarships or discounted registrations. SERFA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, so your donations are tax deductible. Please indicate “SERFA Scholars” with your donation.
Scholarship requirements:
Applicant must be a first time attendee to SERFA.
Preference will be given to touring singer-songwriters seeking to advance personal and professional development.
Groups may apply collectively or individually.
To facilitate engagement, recipients are expected to contribute a small portion of their costs ($50-100) and to volunteer during the conference, up to two 2 hour shifts. Volunteering provides further touch points to welcome the recipient into the SERFA Community and to reinforce the SERFA spirit of contributing .
